Super Bowl Sunday Upstream High Tide Paddle
Kick off your Super Bowl Sunday with a paddle you won’t forget as the tide hits an incredible 7.3 feet, unlocking the stunning upstream reaches of the Petaluma River. This peaceful, wildlife-filled tidal slough offers a magical escape into nature, with hawks soaring above and herons and egrets nesting in the trees.

Opening Day for The Floathouse Winter Boating Club
For just $250 (a 50% discount from our basic rental fees), you can boat every weekend day all winter long. Feb. 1-April 6, 2025. Just use your membership code and there’s no limit to the boats, boards and water bikes you can borrow! As long as you’re “in the same boat” as your guests, your membership is good for their experience too! Join the club that gives you access to the whole river, the whole winter long!

Sound Bath & Restorative Yoga: “Intentions”

It's the new year, and we're ready to paddle! Join us for a Saturday morning adventure as a 7.8' tide carries us into the lush, wildlife-filled tidal slough of the Petaluma River. Come watch Petaluma’s Lighted Boat Parade with The Floathouse Petaluma crew! This festival of lights is one of our favorite events, and this year we’re partnering with the City of Petaluma to manage free spectator seating on the new city docks in the downtown turning basin. Turkey Relay: Hosted by River Town Racers
The Turkey Relay is a Petaluma tradition; it’s when we get silly on the water, come out to enjoy camaraderie on Petaluma’s Longest Park, the Petaluma River, and burn off some of those Thanksgiving calories. Join River Town Racers, Petaluma’s own sprint kayak team, in this fun and wacky small craft race. Bring your own or rent a solo craft from The Floathouse. Everything is allowed: kayaks, canoes, water bikes, stand up paddle boards… Come play on the water with us!

Intermediate SUP
You’ve taken a beginner SUP course and paddled more than 10 hours since then, and now you’re ready to elevate your paddling experience! With our American Canoe Association-qualified instructors, you’ll refine your forward stroke, expand your turning technique, develop footwork and balance, and learn to understand water dynamics, like tides, currents and wind patterns. Designed to boost your competence and confidence on the water, enabling you to paddle faster and more efficiently. $95/person, all-inclusive. BOOK here.

Downriver Run & Sauna Experience

It’s your time. Relax and unwind with us on the serene Petaluma River. Expert instruction by The Yoga Post, our downstream neighbors and friends in float and flow. No experience is necessary to enjoy an evening on our stable TAHE Fit boards, with friends and in the company of your community. SUP Yoga is for everyone. 5:30-7:00 pm in the Petaluma Turning Basin.

Learn to SUP
Take your first real strokes with our expert instructors! American Canoe Association qualified, they will guide you through everything from board basics to how to deal with wind and tide, and give you advice on how to practice what you’ve learned. You’ll know how to take safe and effective strokes, and get personalized attention while you gain competence and confidence.
