Turkey Relay on the River: Paddle, Laugh, and Celebrate Community!

Gather with friends and family for River Town Racers’ Turkey Relay on Saturday morning, November 30th! This fun-filled 3K paddle race on our beloved Petaluma River will have you celebrating the season with a unique twist.

Teams will be randomly assigned by a “coven of evil magicians,” and each group will race around the RTR famed inflatable turkey buoy. Santa’s tugboat might even make a surprise appearance, adding an extra dash of holiday cheer! 🎅🚤

Need a Watercraft? We have rentals available at The Floathouse! Email info@thefloathousepetaluma.org to rent a Schiller Water Bike, Hydrobike, Tahe FIT SUP, Ocean kayak, or a solo Old Town canoe.

Race Details:

Meet up: 8:30 am at the North Bay Rowing Club Dock (625 2nd Street, Petaluma) Directions

Rentals: If you are renting a boat, board or water bike at The Floathouse downtown, get to The Floathouse by 8 am, so you can paddle/pedal your boat/bike/board downriver to the NBRC Dock. We don’t have rentals available online that early, so you’ll have to email us to arrange for your watercraft: Email info@thefloathousepetaluma.org

Course: From Turning Basin to McNear Channel, around the turkey buoy
