The Petaluma Turning Basin was created in the 1920s as a cul-de-sac of sorts, a place for the many working boats of the past to turn around so they could head back out towards the San Pablo Bay and beyond that, San Francisco. Today, surrounded by a growing number of river-oriented businesses, and cherished by the community, it can serve as a center of solace and an amphitheater where we can appreciate an acoustic experience.
