🚤 The Floathouse Petaluma is Moving to Temporary Summer Digs!
Date: Starting June 17th
Location: From 50 E. Washington Street, Petaluma to 50 Water Street, Petaluma
We’re excited to announce that The Floathouse Petaluma, our community-built nonprofit boat rental center, is moving from its current location accessible from River Plaza to a new, temporary summer home accessible from Water Street. This move is necessary due to the reconstruction of the city docks on the SE side of the basin.
Come Watch the Move!
Join us downtown to witness this spectacular demonstration of community spirit as we mobilize to transport the facility we all built together. Small donations were the foundation of the funding we gathered over almost a decade to build The Floathouse, and on Monday, June 17th, you can watch this incredible feat of community effort from anywhere on the basin shores, from Grand Central Petaluma to River Front Cafe, to the Balshaw Pedestrian Bridge to Ayawaska to TAPS to the C Street pocket park.
About The Floathouse
The Floathouse is a project of the Petaluma Small Craft Center (a 501c3 nonprofit) and was funded by you, the members of this community.
Summer Operations
Starting June 17th, we will be operating from our new location near the Balshaw Pedestrian Bridge and Water Street Bistro. We’ll be open 9-5 every weekend day and will hold special group events throughout the summer, including our popular nighttime paddles, full moon, and upstream excursions.
How You Can Support Us
The best way you can support us during this season, as we are affected by the construction in the basin, is to rent online or in person, or schedule a group outing with us. Birthday parties (see our special rates and deals), corporate team building, family outings—these are all superb choices.
For more information and to make reservations, visit our website or contact us directly. We can't wait to see you there!
